Der erste Tag im neuen Jahr zeigte sich von seiner besten Seite. Vor allem die Frühaufsteher unter uns kamen in den Genuss von Rides in unverspurtem Powdersnow ohne einen Meter aufsteigen zu müssen. Das wieder mal schöne Wetter gab den Blick frei und zeigte uns das die Verhältnisse im Backcountry viel besser sind als angenommen. Die Lawinensituation ist zwar nicht unbedingt rosig mit einer intelligenten Linie in nicht zu steilem Gelände ist aber einiges möglich. Touren sind Momentan nur erfahrenen Freeridern zu empfehlen. Für die nächsten Tage ist Schnee angesagt hoffentlich einmal bis in tiefere Lagen denn unterhalb 2000m ist die Schneelage prekär.
